Day 1: Kigali City Tour
Your journey begins with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will gain a profound understanding of Rwanda’s history and resilience. In the afternoon, enjoy an interactive outdoor activity as you explore the city. You’ll join locals for a hands-on cooking experience, learning to prepare traditional Rwandan dishes, followed by a delicious meal. Explore vibrant local markets and neighborhoods for a true glimpse of Kigali’s dynamic culture.

Day 2: Kigali to Musanze & Gorilla Guardian Village
Travel to Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, and visit Gorilla Guardian Village. Immerse yourself in Rwandan culture through traditional dances and storytelling, while learning about mountain gorilla conservation. You’ll also visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus to see their conservation efforts in action.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking

Day 4: Musanze to Rubavu (Congo Nile Trail Biking)
Drive to Rubavu, a lakeside town on Lake Kivu, and begin your Congo Nile Trail biking adventure. Cycle through lush landscapes and picturesque villages, with a stop at a coffee plantation to learn about Rwanda’s coffee-making process and enjoy a tasting session.

Day 5: Rubavu to Karongi & Lake Kivu Exploration
Drive to Karongi (Kibuye), located on the shores of Lake Kivu. Enjoy a boat tour on Lake Kivu, visiting nearby islands, such as Napoleon Island, and taking in breathtaking views. Day 6: Karongi to Nyungwe National Park

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk

Day 8: Nyungwe to Kigali (Ethnographic Museum & Nyanza Royal Palace)

Continue to Nyanza, where you’ll visit the Royal Palace Museum and see the Inyambo (sacred cows), which hold great cultural significance. Return to Kigali for a relaxing evening.

Day 9: Wildlife Safari in Akagera & Boat Ride on Lake Ihema
Drive to Akagera National Park for a thrilling safari game drive to see a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and rhinos. In the afternoon, take a peaceful boat ride on Lake Ihema, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.

Day 10: Final Safari & Departure
Enjoy a final morning safari in Akagera National Park, searching for wildlife and soaking in the stunning savanna landscapes. In the afternoon, return to Kigali for a relaxed city tour or last-minute shopping, before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
